About Me

Hi, my name is Debbie Torpey. I have many years experience of working therapeutically with clients of all ages in a variety of settings.

I have a genuine affection and interest in people and I am told by my clients I am able to offer a deeply authentic relational way of working. I believe it is this relationship that plays a big part in the healing process.

Whilst my initial training is Humanistic, I have a deep respect and understanding for all counselling approaches and have trained in many modalities over the years, which allows me to  offer my clients an individual tailor made approach .

I offer a warm and friendly service where you will not be judged but be provided with the conditions you need to help you make sense of difficult situations that are affecting your life.

I have a wealth of experience and have worked with many issues including Relationship p,roblems Anxiety depression, menopausal issues, bereavement  Abusive relationships sexual abuse and rape. I also offer couple therapy and clinical supervision to other therapists and helping professions.
