I am a BACP accredited therapist with over 17 years experience of working with clients. I am qualified in clinical supervision and have also completed an 80 hour course to allow me to work competently online.
I fully understand the importance of good supervision. Not only is it an ethical part of our practice to have regular supervision, it is needed if we are to grow as therapists and not go to burn out.
Supervision is intended to be an encouraging and supportive experience for you where you can also be gently challenged in order to grow. I encourage my supervisees to be honest and open about any differences we may have and to respect each others ways of working
I offer an integrated approach to supervision using the shoert 7 eyed model. Supervision offers you time to reflect and discuss on your current client work in a safe and non judgemental place, enabling you to get the best outcomes for your client. It will allow you time to refocus and explore your thoughts and feelings around the impact the work is having on you both personally and professionally.
I provide supervision to counsellors, trainee counsellors, coaches, teaching staff, residential care workers and any professional who provides a caring supporting role within their profession.
If you would like to try supervision with me, I would suggest an initial session of 1 hour, where you can explore your supervision needs in more detail and experience the way I work. You can then decide if I am the right therapist for you.
